SIMPLY DESIGNED

Terms of Sale

Version 2026-09-11 · Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy a product or custom manufacturing service from Simply Designed. By creating an account you agree to the account provisions; each time you submit an order you also confirm the order details and the version of these terms shown at checkout.

About Simply Designed

Simply Designed is an Australian small business supplying small-batch laser-cut, personalised and 3D-printed products. Contact: [email protected].

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You must have legal capacity to enter the purchase, or the permission of a parent or guardian. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect an account or the service.

Products, previews and custom work

Product photographs, 3D views, sign previews, colours and woodgrain are guides. Screens, natural materials and manufacturing processes vary. Small differences in colour, grain, layer lines, edge finish, engraving and dimensions are normal unless the product is materially different from its description.

You are responsible for checking spelling, numbers, URLs, QR destinations, dimensions, colours, quantities and other selections before payment. A preview is not a guarantee that every fine detail can be manufactured. We may contact you where a design is unsafe or technically unsuitable.

Customer content and uploaded files

You keep ownership of content you provide. You give Simply Designed permission to store, reproduce, adapt, slice and manufacture that content as needed to quote, fulfil, support and retain a record of your order. You promise that you have the rights and permissions needed to use it and that it is lawful.

We may refuse content that is unlawful, unsafe, infringing, hateful, deceptive, designed as a weapon, or unsuitable for our equipment or materials. Refusal does not affect any refund or consumer rights that apply.

Prices, GST and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars. The checkout shows the product price, postage, total and GST treatment that applies. Customiser and slicer calculations depend on the selections and files provided. If an obvious pricing or system error occurs, we will not manufacture until we have contacted you and offered a correction or cancellation with an appropriate refund.

Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout. An order is not accepted for production merely because it appears in a cart. Acceptance occurs when payment is confirmed and we have not rejected the order for a permitted reason.

Changes, cancellations and returns

Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. Because personalised and made-to-order work may begin quickly, a change-of-mind cancellation may not be possible once materials or production time have been committed. We will explain any reasonable non-recoverable cost before retaining it.

Delivery

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. You must provide a complete and accurate address. Available services and instructions, such as signature or leave-safe, are shown at checkout. Risk associated with an authorised leave-safe instruction passes as permitted by law when the parcel is delivered in accordance with that instruction. Contact us if an order is delayed, damaged or missing so we can investigate.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including Australian Consumer Law guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, Simply Designed is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by inaccurate customer-supplied files, dimensions, wording, links or instructions.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Collection Notice explains how we handle personal information, uploads and order records.

Changes and governing law

The checkout records the terms version accepted for an order. Changes do not retrospectively rewrite a completed purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and Australia, and applicable courts have jurisdiction.
