Privacy Policy
Version 2026-09-11 · Last updated 11 September 2026
Simply Designed respects your privacy and handles personal information carefully. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we may share it with, and the choices available to you.
Privacy Collection Notice
When you create an account, request a design, upload a model, or place an order, we collect the details needed to provide that service. This can include your name, contact details, billing and delivery address, design content, uploaded files, order information and payment status. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to create an account, manufacture an item, deliver an order or provide support.
We may disclose relevant information to providers that help us operate, including our website host, payment processor, email provider, postage providers and production systems. Some providers may process information outside Australia. More detail is provided below.
Who we are

- Order, enquiry, sign-design, QR destination, finish and customisation information.
- Files you upload, such as STL models, artwork and other production content, together with generated previews and production files.

Service providers and disclosure
We disclose only what is reasonably needed to service providers such as Hostinger (website and database hosting), Stripe (payments), email delivery providers, Australia Post or other selected delivery providers, and systems used to prepare production work. Their processing locations and subcontractors can change and may include locations outside Australia. Their own privacy terms also apply to their services.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect customers or our systems, or as part of a lawful business transfer.
Uploads and production files
Uploaded and generated files can contain personal information or intellectual property. We use them to analyse, quote, manufacture, support and retain a record of your order. Do not upload sensitive personal information or content you do not have permission to use.
Security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted connections, password hashing, email verification and other safeguards appropriate to the service. No online system is completely risk-free. We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for orders, support, legal, tax, security and dispute-resolution purposes, then delete or de-identify it where practical.
Access, correction and deletion
You can update many account details through your account. To request access, correction or deletion, or to make a privacy complaint, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records where legally required. We will respond within a reasonable time and explain any refusal.
Cookies and sessions
The site uses essential cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, maintain a cart, protect administrative access and complete checkout. If non-essential analytics or advertising technology is introduced, this policy and the site’s consent controls will be updated first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business and its providers change. The version and date above identify the policy that applies. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably practical.
